Info

A short 15-second film exploring the details and craftsmanship behind pouring a Peroni pint. This project started with a simple idea: to capture the moments that are usually overlooked. Rather than focusing on the full glass, I wanted to explore the smaller details; the movement, textures and atmosphere, that make up the experience of a pour. After four years of focusing on photography, this became my first real step into motion. It was an opportunity to take the skills I’ve developed over the past year and challenge myself to think differently. Not just about composition and lighting, but about movement, timing and storytelling. Experimenting with different techniques, including specialised probe lenses and shooting from perspectives I had never explored before, pushed me outside of my comfort zone. Learning how to bring these elements together into a 15-second film was challenging, but it was also one of the most rewarding creative processes I’ve worked through. The final shot, featuring the red Peroni logo through the glass, was the original spark behind the project and the detail that brought everything together. I’m really happy with how this first experiment into motion turned out, and excited to continue exploring this new way of storytelling. Take a look at the behind-the-scenes to see how I created this film.
